1. Who will be doing my reception/party?
With Mac DJ's Entertainment, you always know who your DJ is, because you will meet with them at least twice before your event. After all, you want to make sure the person in charge of your most important day is someone you are comfortable with.

2. How much experience does your prospective DJ have?
How important is your day to you? If it's your wedding day, it's probably very important. Do you want to take a chance on an inexperienced DJ?

Our DJs are very experienced and interactive, having worked locally over the past 14+ years at both set venues and functions.

3. What is included in the packages?
Find out what is included, and will the package meet your needs. For instance, does your DJ company have wireless microphones for toasts and announcements? Does your DJ company act as MC (master of Ceremony) for your event? Do they charge extra for travel outside a certain area? How about karaoke or club-style lighting?

Mac DJ's Entertainment offers a variety of extra services and equipment at no extra charge, including professional MC services, wireless microphones, lighting & smoke/bubbles. We charge a small fee per km for travel outside a 30km radius of Albury/Wodonga.

4. Does your prospective DJ take requests?
It is very important to ask about the music selection. Will the music they provide meet your needs? If the music selection is slim, many requests will not be fulfilled.

Mac DJ's Entertainment will gladly take requests. We place Request cards on the tables throughout the night, and will provide a vast music library (over 20,000 songs) so that all of your and your guest's requests can be played. We offer a wide range of genres that include Big Band Swing, Oldies, Classic Rock/Pop, Country, Disco, Latin, and today's Top-40/Dance/Hip-Hop.

5. Can your prospective DJ provide references?
Employers require references, why shouldn't you? Ask if you can contact those references, personally.

Mac DJ's Entertainment has several testimonials on file for your information. We will let you know which ones have agreed to allow you to contact them.

6. Does your prospective DJ dress appropriately?
With Mac DJ's Entertainment, your DJ will be attired in a suit for weddings, and neat casual wear if entertaining (suit if required) for a party. If your party is a theme party, rest assured we will play the part. We are professionals - we want to ensure we dress that way.

7. Does your prospective DJ use professional DJ equipment?
Only professional DJ equipment is built to stand up to the rigors of providing music hours on end. Home stereos and sound systems from your local chain store is NOT professional gear.

Ask about the power of their system. There is nothing worse than having to listen to loud, distorted music.

Mac DJ's Entertainment uses all professional DJ gear from reputable DJ manufacturers. Whether your party is for 50 or 5,000, we have the perfect system for you. This also includes our club-style lighting system

8. Do you have written evidence of your booking?
With Mac DJ's Entertainment you will always receive an outline of the services we will be providing you on your Tax Invoice, in order to protect your entertainment investment.

9. Does your prospective DJ carry liability insurance?
Some venues require this type of insurance. Mac DJ's Entertainment carries a $2,000,000 liability insurance policy.

10. Does your prospective DJ have back-up equipment?
What is the ability of the DJ to keep the music going, in case of equipment failure?

Mac DJ's Entertainment carries back-up professional DJ equipment in the unlikely case of failure. We do this for your peace of mind.

11. Now you can ask, "HOW MUCH?"
When you have all of the information, you are now able to figure out what the DJ service is worth to you. Each reception/party is unique. Please call for a consultation and price quotes.

Mac DJ's Entertainment doesn't offer different price packages; we believe in value for money, so everyone will receive this value, e.g. Wireless Microphones, Lighting, Fun/Happy Snaps, Request Cards, and any other requested effects/services. Everything we do is included in your price, so you know exactly what entertainment you will get for your dollar.
